About this product

Lillet belongs in a family of aperitif known as tonic wines. It’s often considered a vermouth, however it is not as there's no wormwood (from which the word vermouth derives) in it.

In 1872, the brothers Paul and Raymond Lillet, distillers and merchants of wines and spirits, founded their company. Today, production is overseen by cellar master Jean Bernard Blancheton.

Lillet is made in Podensac, a small village south of Bordeaux, with the base wines (85% of each expression), also coming from the region.
