Nc'nean is made from organic Scottish barley and slowly distilled to accentuate the delicate, fruity flavours in the spirit. It is then matured in a combination of specially treated red wine and American whiskey barrels
Annabel Thomas founded Nc’nean in a bid to change the way the world thinks about whisky from Scotland. Her mission was to create a whisky which could exist in harmony with this planet we call home.
Based on the Morvern Peninsula, the distillery is located on the beautiful Drimnin Estate which offers long stretches of coastline. Deeply connected to nature, it is even named after Neachneobhain, the Celtic queen of spirits and protector of nature.
