CHATEAU FIGEAC 2010 – 1ER GRAND CRU CLASSE B
CHATEAU FIGEAC 2010 – 1ER GRAND CRU CLASSE B from Vinatis UK
Neighbour of Cheval Blanc, Figeac continues to be the largest domaine of the town of Saint-Emilion with 40 hectares of vines. Château de Figeac has a completely different grape variety due to a privileged gravel terroir: 70% Cabernet (half Cabernet Franc, half Cabernet Sauvignon) and only 30% Merlot. This unusual aspect makes Figeac the most Médoc of the Saint Emilion domaines. This very harmonious and well-structured wine is a huge success. Its ageing potential is one of the most important of the great Bordeaux wines, making it a model of elegance…Excellent already today, it will become sublime over the years!!
