Description

Les Picasses is made from the chalky soils of the estate. The wine is matured in 30hl wooden foudres over a period of 12 to 18 months and this cuvée is characterised by its capacity to be kept for at least 15 years. Often capricious in its youth, the Picasses, once it has reached its optimum phenolic maturity, reveals a fine, persistent bouquet of blackcurrant, blackberry, morello cherry, prune, liquorice and cocoa with spicy notes. This is the case for this great vintage with a wine that is melted into a dense and vinous substance.
