SAPERAVI VINOTERRA (QVEVRI) ROUGE 2020 – SCHUCHMANN

Description

This wine is made from vines that are more than 50 years old. It is produced using a traditional millennial Kakheti method that involves fermenting the grapes for 21 days in Qvevri (an egg shaped terracotta vessel) and then leaving it for 12 months in French oak barrels without adding commercial yeast. This wine is bottled without filtration. It is a superb wine with intense, ripe flavours, elegantly dressed in a juicy frame.
