A renowned winemaker of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Nicolas Souchon has brought out Mas des Volques, with the support and sound advice of Philippe Cambie, one of the most renowned wine consultants of the Rhône Valley (named oenologist of the year in 2010 by Robert Parker). Volcae has all the qualities of a great red wine. Grown on very old vines, it reveals notes of tobacco, pepper, plum jam and blueberry, and demonstrates lovely power and a great deal of elegance.
