Franciacorta extends over 25 km from the Oglio river to the Mella and the outskirts of Brescia. Probably less well known than Prosecco and Moscato d’Asti, it produces the best sparkling wines in Italy using a traditional method with just Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Pinot Nero. This Franciacorta Cuvée Royale by Marchese Antinori is a sparkling wine that is extremely easy to drink with a deeply fresh personality, spicy and delicious. This blend of 78% Chardonnay, 12% Pinot Nero and 10% Pinot Bianco offers lovely shades of citrus, white fruit and honeysuckle.
