CHATEAU SIGALAS RABAUD 2010 – 1ER CRU CLASSE
CHATEAU SIGALAS RABAUD 2010 – 1ER CRU CLASSE from Vinatis UK
Sigalas Rabaud, the smallest of the Premiers Crus Classés, is located less than 500m from the Château d’Yquem. Planted to the South, on the Sauternais terrace, its vines grow in a flint-gravel soil that helps to nourish them. To the North-West runs the Ciron, whose chilly waters are favourable to Botrytis cinerea. Further up, the wind dries out and concentrates the Botrytis-affected grapes… All of these particular characteristics make Sigalas Rabaud an exceptional terroir. This vintage is a real triumph and will go marvellously with cheeses and of course with some foie gras. A legendary and distinguished wine that will excite well-informed lovers of great Sauternes.
