L’AUTHENTIQUE 2021 – DOMAINE PETITEAU

Description

Planted on 25 to 40 year old vines and aged for 8 months on the lees, Melon de Bourgogne reveals fresh notes of lily of the valley and jasmine, pear and lemon zest. A delicate minerality adds richness to this ensemble. The palate is round and well structured, its density perfectly matching its tonicity. One finds mineral notes characteristic of the soil on schist and mica schist. This is a very nice Muscadet, aromatic and subtle at the same time, that we can keep. It will be an ideal companion for seafood and fish from now on or in a few years.
