LES COPAINS D’ABORD SEC 2022 – DOMAINE BORDENAVE

Description

The Bordenave estate, located in the heart of the Jurançon appellation, in Monein, is one of the oldest properties in the region, run by father, daughter and son since 1676. Les Copains d’Abord sec is a Jurançon made from old Gros Manseng vines harvested at the beginning of October, and matured on fine lees in vats and barrels for 9 months before bottling. Pale gold in colour with golden highlights, the nose reveals very expressive aromas of fresh fruit and subtle floral notes. The palate is well balanced between the freshness, the fruit and the roundness brought by the long maturation on the lees, which also brings a slight woody influence. The substance is well present to ensure a good evolution in the cellar, but you will certainly enjoy it now with fish or shellfish for example!
