English Gin Inspired by South Africa, Whitley Neill Gin is slightly softer in profile than traditional Gins, with rich notes of juniper and citrus (cape gooseberry and baobab), pot pourri and exotic spices.
Subdued juniper and citrus notes come to the fore at first followed by a subtle spice and complex finish - pair with a pink grapefruit garnish in a G&T.
Whitley Neill is made from a 100% grain spirit that is steeped with nine botanicals prior to being distilled to a London Dry multi-shot method, in a beautiful antique copper pot still called ‘Constance’ who is over 100 years old.
Named after and originally created by category icon Johnny Neill, an 8th generation gin distiller whose family have been making spirits since 1762. The brand is now part of the Halewood International group.
Whiley Neill is contract distilled at Langley Distillery in Birmingham. Situated on the historic Crosswells Brewery Site, the distillery that's been creating new gins for clients since 1920 and has some of the oldest working stills in the UK.
