Using their usual process to make the spirit -Casamigos Blanco Tequila is aged for around 7 months in American white oak barrels, picking up a golden tint and some spicy oak notes.
Casamigos Reposado Tequila is designed to be drunk neat but can also be used in cocktails including the classic Margarita. The nose is fragrant with caramel and cocoa, while to taste dried fruits, sweet agave and peppery oak emerge.
Casamigos was launched by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman who sought to make the perfect Tequila and Mezcal for them. Diageo snapped it up but Hollywood star Clooney remains an active part of the brand.
