Torres 10 has an intense aroma with warm hints of cinnamon and vanilla, with the oaked brandy emerging more to taste. There's a long, structured finish with aromatic notes of oak.
Local Catalan grape varieties Macabeu, Parellada and Xarel-lo undergo a double distillation in copper pot stills, followed by a long maturation using a Solera System of American Oak barrels in Torres’ famous family cellar.
Torres was founded in 1870 and remains family-owned nearly some 150 years later. “Torres 10” was created in 1946 by Miguel Torres Carbó and today the company is headed by the fourth generation; Miguel Torres.
Torres are based in the Penedes wine-growing region of Spain and have extensive vineyards in the Denomination of Origin of Penedès (they are one of the largest wineries in Spain).
