Bold and juniper heavy, the Navy edition is a real heavy hitter. Pair with aromatic tonic water and a slice of pink grapefruit if you want a G&T, or use it to make a delicious Negroni packed with character.
Slingsby is made at Langley's Distillery in Birmingham, where 24 botanicals (including primrose, sweet cicely, nettle, rhubarb, milk thistle, rosehip and Taylors of Harrogate green and jasmine tea) are steeped for 12h before being distilled.
Proud Northerners Marcus Black and Mike Carthy founded Spirit of Harrogate 2014 with the aim to reflect their Yorkshire home's heritage. Their London Dry Gin, Slingsby, arrived on shelf less than a year later.
The gin is named after Harrogate legend William Slingsby, who discovered the unique properties of the natural spring water from Harrogate’s Tewit Well in 1571. The 24 botanicals chosen are inspired by the restorative nature of the town.
