The Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 is a distinct and heavily peated single malt Scotch whisky that pays homage to its Islay roots. It’s made from 100% Islay-grown barley, harvested from eight local farms, emphasizing the whisky’s strong connection to its terroir and the craftsmanship of Bruichladdich Distillery. This particular vintage was matured for seven years in a mix of first-fill bourbon, second-fill virgin oak, and second-fill Bordeaux wine casks, bottled at 50% ABV and peated to 40 PPM.
