Commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Glasgow Garden Festival held on the banks of the river Clyde in the Summer of 1988. 138 numbered bottles exclusive to The Whisky Barrel. The Glasgow Garden Festival transformed derelict land on the banks of the River Clyde in Glasgow into greenspace, a theme park and adventure playgroups for 5 months from April to September 1988. The National Garden Festivals were based on the German post-war ‘Bundesgartenschau’ idea for reclaiming large areas of disused or neglected land in cities. The Glasgow site is now home to the Glasgow Science Centre and a digital media village on the banks of the River Clyde.
